KÉRÉON LIGHTHOUSE – MOLÈNE ISLAND

Built between 1837 and 1844 on the southern tip of Molène Island, Kéréon Lighthouse guides sailors at the entrance to the Fromveur Channel, renowned for its powerful currents and hazardous waters.

Standing 26 metres tall and built from finely cut stone, it was originally fitted with rapeseed oil lamps before being electrified in 1911. Its white light, flashing three times every 20 seconds, remains an essential aid to navigation in the Iroise Sea.

A silent guardian of the island, it has watched over sailors and the history of Molène for nearly two centuries.

Printed on 250 gsm coated paper, it can be enhanced by adding a frame or protective glass.

Frame not included. Size: 42 × 29.7 cm (A3).
