The "Bisquine" fishing boats are boats from around 1900 whose name comes from "Biscaya" (Vizcaya, in the Basque Country). Fishing boats were built in this sea area. The Bisquines engaged in trawling and oyster dredging, particularly in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.
